Home on the Farm will be held on Friday, September 11 and Saturday, September 12. To create an intimate experience, each evening is limited to approximately 40 guests. Advance registration is required. 5:30 PM – Doors open. Browse artwork and merchandise, enjoy refreshments, meet the newborn Holstein calf, and explore the barn. 6:00 PM – The evening program begins with live music followed by the featured Home on the Farm chalk art presentation. 7:30 PM – Meet the artist, browse artwork and gifts, and enjoy additional time on the farm before departing.

 

Directions

When coming down Hawkins Rd, you will see a farmhouse at the top of the hill, be sure to turn into the driveway that leads to the farm area NOT the house. Please line your car up and park accordingly as show in the picture below. Someone will be available to assist/show you into the barn where the performance will take place.

  • The barn has uneven surfaces.
  • Dress for the season.
  • Arrive 20 minutes early.
  • No smoking.
  • No pets (except service animals, if that’s your policy).

Refund Policy

Tickets are non-refundable but may be transferred to another guest up to 24 hours before the event. If the event is canceled by the organizers, guests will receive a full refund.

About Thomas Herr

Thomas Herr is a visual artist and musician whose live chalk presentations have captivated audiences in the mid-Atlantic region and overseas. He began developing his craft at a young age, taking formal lessons starting at age 10, and became known for combining visual storytelling, music, and message into a single immersive experience.

Over the years, Thomas has presented chalk talks and musical programs at a wide range of churches, private events, and special venues, including notable events such as the Divine Dairy Affair at Harvest View Barn in Hershey, Pennsylvania. His presentations are designed to engage all ages, drawing children in visually while delivering messages that resonate meaningfully with adults.

Trained in Southern Gospel and popular music styles, Thomas is known for expressive musicianship and thoughtful presentation, creating live experiences that are visually compelling, meaningful, and memorable.
